about Siddhant

Siddhant is a young and energetic student of Modern School, VV, New Delhi. Though he is an active member of many organizations inside and outside school, Siddhant’s focus is on working towards the betterment of the less privileged.

He was introduced to the world of sustainable entrepreneurship when he was selected to attend the Oikos One World Conference in 2016. Since then, he has not only worked towards sustainability-focused initiatives for Oikos, but has also introduced the concept to many of the projects in his own life as well. 

In the year 2017, he volunteered at Cheshire Home for his school community service programme and worked with the specially-abled residents and saw them make beautiful handmade candles and artefacts.

What struck him was their limitation of marketing their products. At the time, they were only selling to the people visiting the Home.
Hence he took upon himself to help promote their products using online marketing tools to help their products reach a far bigger market. He sought to provide the residents of the Home a sense of pride in their work by making it accessible to the wider public.

After getting an encouraging response, Siddhant decided to launch an online website, e-nrich.com to help artisans from different parts of the country expand their reach as well.

He partnered with ones from Chattisgarh and Jharkhand who practised the art of dokhra (metal casting), ones from Rajasthan who produced meenakari (enamelling) works, and ones from Bihar and Orissa who made paintings in the Madhubani style. He tied up logistical support to ensure a sustainable business model and enable them all to have a steady market reach.

Siddhant is now working towards expanding this dream into an inclusive growth story for all.
